Our peaceful lakes offer an array of activities including canoeing, kayaking, paddle boating, and fishing. Plus, our scenic hiking trails provide the perfect backdrop for exploration. And don’t forget to take a dip in our indoor swimming pool – ideal for relaxation any time of the year!

Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.”
Our Story
The Cherith is a secluded place. A place away from the world and the busyness of life. It’s a place that God provided for us to walk into. He provided all the provisions for us to do something we had no idea we would have ever been able to do. We’ve had it in our hearts for years to have a place for others to come and spend time with the Lord both alone and together.
"Cherith" means a cutting away. For us we believe that productive “cutting” happens when we are away with our Father, the vinedresser. The Vinedresser cuts away nonproductive branches. John 15:1-27 teaches that there is a place and time for God to prepare you for what He has next.
He is ready to speak to you, are you ready to stop your busyness to hear His voice? He calls you away to speak tenderly to you and it’s not in the wind, fire or earthquake…it’s in a gentle whisper.
The Brook “CHERITH”
Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah; “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Cherith Ravine, east of the Jordon. You will drink from the brook, and I have ordered the ravens to feed you there.”Some time later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land. Then the word of the Lord came to him; “Go at once to Zarephath of Sidon and stay there. I have commanded a widow in that place to feed you. So he went to Zarephath. - 1 Kings 17: 2-4, 7-10
